Its free, it can find trees based on various characteristics, search by common/scientific names, wish I had it back when I was in school!

If you by chance need any random information on trees, this is a great source that has everything in one spot

While there is plenty of useful information assembled here, the apps actual main focus, namely to identify a tree, doesnt work very well. Each time you have to fill out a long questionnaire about leaf and fruit characteristics, but often you get no results if your input does not match perfectly. So thats a little frustrating. If you dont have a fruit, for example, or you mislabel one characteristic you should still be able to get some sort of approximation.

Can’t beat all that great information for the price!
